Ongoing Activities with Center Resident Groups

The Clifton Center is fortunate to have such an interesting and creative group of resident tenants and others who host classes in our building. They provide excitement and enthusiasm to this community gathering place. Do you need an excuse to reactivate that paintbrush? Are your young ones ready for a movement or dance class? How about giving yourself some healing time with Yoga? Maybe there's Pilates in your future? It's always a good time to join in the fun at the Clifton Center! Children's Classical Dance and Movement - Summer Classesl Ballet Arts Studio, Suite 201- 425-3543. Pre-school students, 10 - 11am Kindergarten/Beginner Students, 11 - 12 pm. Painting instruction for adults - Crescent Moon Studio has added a new instructor, Claudia Hammer, for weekday and evening classes. Call Claudia at 625-3008. Martin Rollins continues Saturday studio classes in Suite 304. Call him to register at 419-7940 Orbis Yoga Studio hosts a variety of ongoing classes in Suite 301 - www.orbisyoga.com or call 896-1054 Stott Pilates Class by Major Pilates on Tuesday evenings 6:30 - 7:30 pm. For more information on these weekly Pilates with Props classes, email majorpilates@gmail.com or call : 551-2992 You may want to join an award-winning women's chorus - The Pride of Kentucky Chorus - Sweet Adelines International which rehearses at the Clifton Center. This women's barbershop group is ranked in the top 10 of their internationally competitive "Song World" and they work extremely hard every Tuesday night to maintain their successful place in the hierarchy of choral groups. Call them to join in the fun - 368-SONG. The Colon Cancer Prevention Project,Suite 306, is a nonprofit organization that educates folks on prevention and supports survivors. You may notice that the Taoist Tai Chi classes are no longer listed here. They have been outgrowing their space here for a couple of years and have found a new home.
