| Directions to Clifton Center |
| Located in the heart of Louisville, access is easy from I-64 at the Grinstead Drive Exit, or from I-71 at the Zorn Avenue (Exit #2) |
Directions to the Center
The Clifton Center is located off Frankfort Avenue at the corner of Clifton
Avenue and Payne Street. From the East on Frankfort Avenue, Clifton is the next
stoplight after Ewing Avenue; from the West, Clifton is the next stoplight after
the railroad tracks cross Frankfort Avenue.
From East on 1-64 (Hurstbourne area): take Grinstead Drive Exit, turn right
for one block, then left on Peterson. When Peterson ends at Frankfort Avenue, turn
left and continue to second stoplight. Turn left on Clifton. Look for Center on St.
Frances of Rome campus on your right.
From the East on I-71: Exit I-71 at Zorn Avenue and turn left onto Zorn. Continue across Brownsboro Road where Zorn becomes Hillcrest. Cross the RR tracks and turn right onto Frankfort Avenue. Continue approximately 1 mile. After the Irish Rover restaurant on your right, turn left at the next stoplight onto Clifton. Look for the Center on your right.
From Downtown or points West on 1-64: take Story Avenue exit {#7), turn right
for one block, then left on Spring Street. Continue through first stoplight to second
light. Turn left on Payne Street (landmark: Spring Street Grill) and continue for several
blocks to Clifton (first major street on the left). Turn left on Clifton and look for
Clifton Center on your left.
From South: take 1-65 north to 1-64 East to Story Avenue exit (#7) Follow
directions from West on 1-64 above.
From North (Indiana): take 1-65 south (or 1-64 East across the bridge) to 1-64
East. Exit at Story Avenue exit (#7). Turn right for one block, then left on Spring Street.
Continue through first stoplight to second light. Turn left on Payne Street (landmark:
Spring Street Grill) and continue for several blocks to Clifton (first major street on the
left.) Turn left on Clifton and look for Center on your left.
From Downtown (non expressway): Take Market Street East to Mellwood. Turn right on
Frankfort Avenue and continue until Clifton Avenue (the first stop light after the railroad
tracks cross Frankfort. Turn right on Clifton and look for Clifton Center and signs for
parking on your right.
Public Transit
Three TARC bus routes service the Center: Routes 15, 19 and 31. For schedules, call TARC at 585-1234 or visit their website: www.ridetarc.org.
Parking
Three parking lots and plentiful Street parking in neighborhood setting on Clifton Avenue and on Payne Street. Disabled parking in lot on corner of Clifton & Payne, use Main Entry facing Clifton.
NOTE: Monday through Friday mornings before 8:30am - two lots (A & B) are available, one off Payne Street on the west side of the Center and the other
north of the alley off Clifton Avenue.
After 8:30am, the lot on the comer of Clifton and Payne (lot C) is open.
Disabled access to all floors via Main Entry facing Clifton with parking in Lot C. Disabled access to the Theatre also via alley ramp, with parking in lot B.
