The Clifton Center presents the First Annual Afterbeat Festival, a celebration of great music.
Featuring three stages and an dizzying array of great musicians, the Festival gives you the opportunity to experience great music in a variety of settings throughout the evening, beginning at 6:00 and lasting until midnight. It’s an incredible lineup with artists like blues legend Taj Mahal, legendary guitar player Bill Frisell, the 2012 IBMA Bluegrass Instrumental Band of the Year, the Boxcars, plus Feufollet, Trio Brasileiro, Shovels & Rope, Steve Cooley and Friends, Zoe Muth, Tyrone Cotton, Tanita Gaines, Joe Manning, and more.
And with barbecue from Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot, pizza from Boombozz Famous Pizza, vegan wraps from Morels, ice cream from the Comfy Cow, and a cash bar with BBC Beer, you’ll have everything you need!
Venues include the beautiful Eifler Theater, a beautiful and spacious concert setting that hosts our Mini of Louisville Live at the Clifton Center concerts throughout the year; the Center’s Reception Hall, where the audience will be seated at tables, cabaret style, with a cash bar
and food available during the performances; and the most intimate and unusual setting of all, the Frankfort Room, with little or no amplification and small enough to feel like your own living room.
Performances run simultaneously, so move from stage to stage and experience it all!
